About us….
So Cal Party Planner was developed to meet the needs of busy people who want
to do it all and do it all themselves!
A friend of mine, who is a working parent, was planning a party for her
daughter. My friend, like so many of us, is her own “party planner”. After work
was done, dinner was over and the kids went to bed, she went on-line to find all
the party-related vendors and services that she needed. She was quickly
overwhelmed with irrelevant information and companies that were no where
close to home.
Then she started looking through the yellow pages, the local entertainment
magazines, the mailers and calling all her friends. I tried to help her and was
amazed at all the time and effort it took.
After that experience, I got to thinking about why there wasn’t a central
directory for party-related companies. A resource that most busy adults, and
certainly my friend, would value and use over and over again. That was the
moment the So Cal Party Planner came to life.
So Cal Party Planner is designed to give you an easy to use directory of party-
related resources for the “Do-It-Yourself” Party Planner. We have compiled a
selection of vendors who service the area that you live in and that you may not
have ever known about.
